Series 4 Water Eject

Coming from an original Apple Watch. What is this “water eject” function?

If you go swimming with your watch, you use this function afterwards to push remaining water out of the speaker holes.

It was brought in with the S2. It puts a sound through the speaker to make it eject any water in there. Use it after swimming; rinse first if you were swimming in salt water.

Put the watch in water mode by tapping the water drop icon. This locks the screen. When done swimming eject the water by following the directions. When it’s done it will unlock the screen.

If your watch gets wet (or if you go swimming with it), you can use the speaker to 'eject' water from the speaker.
