Series 5 - Preparing to ship?

I see some of you have a "Shipped" status already.

I wonder if the configuration is the difference. I order a gold aluminum with the gold milanese loop band.

Status still says delivery is the 20th.

No one has shipped status yet, people are just getting tracking info from UPS.

My Apple Watch Edition 44mm Titanium is supposed to deliver 10/2-7 just switched to Preparing to Ship. Pretty excited if it does ship sooner than what was originally scheduled to deliver!! Also confirmed that my credit card was charged as well. No UPS Tracking number yet.

Ordered mine the day of the keynote and it still says “preparing to ship”. Delivery day is still the 20th.

Same! Oct. 1-4 window originally quoted but CC charged this evening and item is preparing to ship!

I have the same window! But my bank apparently refused the transaction so I had to change payments. Hope mine goes to Preparing to Ship soon!

EDIT: the transaction is on my card so here’s hoping

A lot of us Hermès Series 5 people are seeing preparing for shipment and our cards have been charged in the Hermès thread. Most of us had non-launch day estimates.

Seems like Apple underpromised and might over deliver? My phone delivery date has been bumped up as well.

Sep 30-Oct 3 estimate, ordered Thu, ceramic, just went PFS! Hope it’s not a mistake because my Friday bands were PFS but went back to processing. The underpromise is alive and well!
