I am having a very hard time dhave an deciding between a 4 and 5 Watch. The 5 is constantly on, but can you adjust the setting to be like the 4? I would like to have the option to "raise to wake" or tap like the 4....

If you don’t want the always on display, then just try and find a S4 new at Best Buy. They’re the exact same watch outside of the AOD and the built in compass. Save your money on the 4 in my opinion.

If there's a huge price cut, then go with Series 4.. Otherwise I would go with Series 5.. even if you don't want the AOD.. there's the Compass if you neeed one, and also 32GB of storage (instead of 16GB on Series 4)

To me, ‘raise to wake’ is extremely efficient and Apple tweaked it to be much more sensitive over the past few versions of watchOS. The ‘always on display’ [AOD] is not a selling point for me, but it is nice to have for those who don’t want to have to use raise to wake. Also, AOD can be toggled on or off as an FYI.
