Hello,

I noticed sometimes Siri doesnt understand me. I Looked in the microphone hole and it looks like the microphone is misaligned inside.

Is This a manufacturing defect???

Or is this normal.

Thanks for your Input!

I suspect that the construction of the watch makes it impossible for any misalignment to occur. But if you are concerned, let an Apple genius look at it.

thats what i thought too but My series 4 doesnt have it.

I think its a manufacturing defect.

Unfortunately i dont have a apple store near me.

Dirt or foreign object in the hole is more likely than a manufacturing defect. Here's mine, for comparison.

thanks for the picture. Unfortunately i cannot see in yours Has it too. I think maybe its a water seal thats Not Fitted correctly.

That could be right. Only Apple will be able to tell. Even though you’re not near an Apple Store, you can talk to them on the phone or via chat.

Mine also has this slight „misalignment“. Did anyone contact Apple Support about this?

I would not worry about it - everything works just fine on my apple watch and i think it is within the manufacturing tolerances. :)

I noticed this on my series 7 as well. Hasn’t seemed to impact Siri as far as I can tell though

Hi, I noticed the same on mine today. Did you guys have yours replaced? Or have you noticed any issues over time? Thanks
