Hi folks, wondered if you can help.

I just purchased this from a UK reseller for £320 (about $385)

The watch is in good condition with 95% battery health and warranty until Nov this year.

I'm coming from a SSSB5 which I still have.

I ordered under the assumption it was the NATURAL titanium version but they sent me the black and can't exchange as they have no natural in stock.

After engaging with their customer services (a terrible experience, they tried to blame me) they have offered to refund fully if I send back the watch (free postage) or they will refund £50 off of the cost so it would cost me £270 for the watch.

The conundrum is, I think it looks crap. People say online it looks too much like the space grey but I think it actually looks plastic!

Is it worth hunting down a natural Ti, is it that much nicer than the steel?

What y'all reckon?

Pro's

Slightly lighter than my SSSB
Sapphire screen
Decent price for Ti!
Warranty
Battery ok
Obviously I'm coming from a 5

Cons

It looks cheap to me (I haven't seen it in daylight yet though)
I have an all black watch already
Haptics feels weaker than my SSSB5 (settings boosted)

Options

Keep it, sell the SSSB5, try and get used to it. (pretty good deal for the Ti)

Send back and rock the SSSB5 until series 9

Look for natural Ti (doubt I'll get as good a deal again though)

Get Alu 8 for general/sporty stuffand keep SSSB5 for best?

I would keep it. Excellent price and while I prefer the natural Ti, I think the black Ti looks nice also and certainly not cheap. It also has the advantage of not getting scratches while the natural Ti is easily scratched in my experience. The Aluminum 8 will cost more and while some may think the Ti looks too much like the Aluminum, it is different and you will know that your watch is Ti and the rest of the world probably doesn't care.

Thank, I’ll give it some thought overnight.
I think most of it is that I was looking forward to a change from black but I’ve ended up with black again.

OK, so I've decided to keep it!

It is a bright sunny day and the finish seems a bit more complex in sunlight.

Used S7s go from about £240 on eBay here in the UK so it's a bit of a no brainer money wise as the Titaniums were £850 here up until the 8 came out, how's that for depreciation!

I might keep my SSSB as a spare as it has a fresh battery, or I might sell it and try to pick up a S5 natural Ti for dressier occasions.

I had the SBTi S7 before my Ultra and loved the look. Yeah it looks a lot like the Space Grey alu from a distance, but is other peoples thoughts about the metal of your Apple Watch what you value the most? Of course if you think it looks bad or plastic close up yourself, I would not keep it.

I loved the stealth look and light feel and the sapphire sealed it. It is also super durable. 15 months down the line and mine looked brand new

I love my SBTi Series 7! I am not sure they even made a series 7 natural Ti.

Regardless, you will not find a more durable finish that the DLC coating on the Ti frame. Mine still looks like new after a year plus of use. You got a great price on it.
