This is a big one for me! As an example, my dad and I have almost identical email addresses (1 character difference) and when I type his name, I end up mailing myself instead half the time. If I could type "dad" (which is his nickname in AddressBook) instead, there would be no ambiguity.

I like this too. Sort of an "Outstanding Replies" view where you could track messages where replies (to you or from you) are important to you.

Good to see that I am not the only one. ;)
Let's keep bugging Apple about it :D

One thing I really dislike about Mail (and Outlook does this too, so maybe it's just a common thing to most mail clients) is that it throws all the emails from my different accounts into the same mailbox. I had to put the provider name in the message list view so that I could tell which account each one was coming from.

I think having an option to show each mailbox separately--maybe in tabs?--would be nice.

What do you mean? I have everything in different boxes...

I have to say that Mail is, in my view, one of Apple's most complete Mac OS X apps. There's not much I'd like to change with it. In fact, I can't really think of any :p

I'd agree with that, but there's always room for improvement.

One month ago I was in Madrid ;)
Next time. How did you like it?

Honestly, I really loved it. Many people I talked to in Berlin complained about the economy, the debt, the overall "state of affairs", but for me, I really enjoyed the city. So much culture and so much history - WWI, WWII, The Berlin Wall - and that's only the last 100 years! The whole music and arts scene is fascinating, there's so much to do, and I found it to be really cool. Took a day trip out to Potsdamm as well and some of the sites there are fascinating as well.

Next time I'm there, I'll letcha know.

Nice to hear that you liked it. I love this city, so much to see and to do. The only thing that sucks is the weather but oh well.
Yeah, lemme know.

The weather wasn't the best when I was there either, (cold and rainy), but it beats winter here on the Prairies! ;)

I've got at least 10,000 messages saved in Mail (anyone know an easy way to count?), with no slowdowns, even on my (soon to be scrapped) Ti400. I believe there's a pretty easy way to import all your messages from Entourage as well (it's been a while)....
Go to the script menu and select count messages in all mailboxes.

Ti400s unite!
