Serious iPhone Line Checklist

Pretty much the same thing line by line that I am bringing, short of the kitchen sink of course..
Well, seeing that I don't plan to sleep, I need the MBP for internet/movies. To stay awake further, I can play games on PSP. To be honest, I need one last night with the original iPhone. Overkill? Maybe. But at least I will be entertained the whole night.
sounds like a nice setup, i might do something like that. I think they will only let you get one phone though, might want to bring that wife
Actually I already asked and I was told I would be fine to buy another one for my family plan.
I'm making a list of all the people that think they are just going to casually stroll in and pick up their iPhone. I think you're going to be in for a rude awakening come the 11th or you're just plain deluding yourself.

I'm getting to my AT&T store around 11 pm and I'll have:

Books and mags don't seem like the brightest (advance pun) idea considering you'll be out there waiting in line before the sun comes up..
I have no special plans for what I intend to bring. I'll just show up with my iPhone, Shure SE530's, Apple gift card & early-adopter coupon with about $60 or so left on it, my credit card, my new point & shoot digicam and a friend to share the waiting pain with.
Now that I think about it.. I might bring one book and one magazine with me as well. After all, that wait is going to take hours.. I'll be out getting wasted the night before as well, so I have no idea when I'll arrive to camp out at the cube.
What worries me the most is that I'm going to the one place on Earth you'd want to avoid for this launch if you've got any sanity in you left. But between the choices being limited in Manhattan (for Apple stores), and with the excitement over this launch quite likely peaking at this location, it should be an exciting, if highly frustrating and most of all LONG morning.
I'll stop by the store Thursday evening just to see what the status is. I'm praying to the gods hoping the line won't be ridiculous :/

+1 on the AMEX card. I use my Blue Cash card for everything. They automatically extend the factory warranty by one year. It saved my on my LCD tv that started getting dead pixels after 1 1/2 years and AMEX gave me the money back and let me keep the TV. Sweet.
Do any of you guys know anything about the Costco Amex cards? it's the executive member card, and it is black, so I am not sure about it...

True, it is a bunch of pricey things. But, I will have family there and it is at a reputable mall, so it should be fine. I guess though that one can never be to careful.

I have to work that day (0900-1800), so I won't even get home until 1900 (7:00PM). I'll just have to walk on over to the Ala Moana Apple Store then to pick up my iPhone. Hopefully the line will be short - maybe my wife will once again save a spot for me
