I don’t know. Maybe I’m a prude, but I would never dream of watching anything with any nudity in public.
one college kid who had a sound & video system on his truck was blasting porn on it in the parking lot, it was funny as hell and he didn't care, wonder where else he tried that and if he was accused of anything .

Imagine that, a collage kid with the mentality of a sixth grader. Would it have been funny if you were there with a young child?

I might have shot him if he was on the parking lot and I happened to stroll by with my child.................but schools are gun free zones so all I could do was mind my business and head to class.

Too bad you're a midget.

I know, I hate all those signs that say "you must be this tall to ride" , and don't get me started on women who point & giggle............

It would depend on what country you are in. Regardless of the country, though, it's rude and disrespectful. Frankly, watching ANY movie in a public place is rude and disrespectful... I hope at least it's done with earphones.

It falls in the category of that calendar in the bathroom at your mechanic. "Oh, please Miss, use the other restroom. That's the one the dirty mechanics use..."

I was traveling about a year ago in Mexico, and happened upon a nice looking local bar. I sat there for quite a while downing a respectable number of cervezas, and at one point I happened to glance to the bar. The dude running the place (a big dude with a beard down to his knees, sweating profusely) was watching porn on the big tv above the bar, and just when I looked over there he happened to look in my direction. That was probably the most uncomfortable, and yet amazingly hilarious eye contact I've ever experienced.

There were other patrons there as well, but they seemed completely unfazed by the situation. I guess it was a little ritual they had, or something like that. I went there three more times. What can I say, the beer and tequila were both cheap.

In conclusion, I wouldn't be offended if I happened to see someone watching something explicit in public, but at the same time I realize that it is inherently indicative of bad manners, not to mention completely lacking any kind of social awareness and consideration of others.
