Serious Issue- PLEASE help!!!

I decided to take the plunge and jailbreak my iphone 3gs with redsnow. I made sure to select all the right options (i have the newer 3gs model). When I saw the little pineapple on my iphone screen, I got this message :

redsnow.exe has stopped working
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
windows will close the programe and notify you if a solution is
available

Now my phone is just stuck on the pineapple. What should I do???

put it in DFU mode and try again if your using windows 7 you might want to change the compatibility to windows 98.

Thanks for the fast response. I tried it again it worked but now when I selected Install Cydia it worked until it said uploading ram disk or something like that and then I got that " redsnow has stopped working and windows needs to close it" mesage again. Now my phone is stuck on a screen that says Downloading jailbreak data. I repeated the process again and its the same thing. My computer wont let me finish the jailbreak smh.

what firmware version and which phone are you jb.

Did you run redns0w under Windows XP Compatibility mode?

Labman and jav you're geniuses!!! I have Vista and im trying to jb a 3gs. I had the compatibility on xp and I changed the compatibility to windows 98 and it worked fine. Thanks guys.
