seriously how do you jailbreak and iPhone 6 iOS 9.3.2.
there seems to be endless downloads and videos / tutorials but to me they all lead no wear.

i can not find clear step buy step instructions. the pangu downloads is just a folder with files and folders that don't open. and they do not match up with any tutorial in any way.

do i need a windows PC computer for some reason? that seems to be a thing i see come up.

i just need to get a copy of omnifocus 2 running on my iPhone

i'm no computer wiz thats why i use a mac. i can figure out how to get adobe program torrents running or even a video game but this seems very difficult

As far as I know there is no publicly available jailbreak for 9.3.2. Though, there are lots of websites willing to take your money or give you malware when you think you're getting a jailbreak app ;)

There is no jailbreak for 9.2 and above.
Only 64-bit devices (5s and above) have a jailbreak for 9.1.
9.0.2 is the latest that can be jailbroken for 32-bit devices.

Any website offering to jailbreak 9.2 or above is a scam.

And before you ask, no, you cannot downgrade to 9.1 or 9.0.2.

You have to wait until an official jailbreak for your firmware has been released.

ok thanks for clarifying. and the info on downgrades. i'm ok with just buying the few apps i need then. but i have to ask is there some underground layer with a team of jail breakers working around the clock to crack this thing? when might the next jailbreak happen. i'm more curious than impatient. i just search to find a list of jailbreak dates and don't seem to see any i would think there would be a list saying this is when each iOS was cracked or is it just not all that simple.

Nobody has the answer to that question. Anyone who gives you an answering is lying. A jailbreak will drop whenever it drops. There is normally not any, or much notice in advance. I think there was one that advanced notice was given, but was a few weeks late, which many though was an attempt to get ad revenue from people visiting the site. I believe that was the last American jailbreak.

There are a lot of 'showoffs' that post pics of jailbreaks on their Twitter pages and announce dates that they will release. Then nothing comes of it. We seem to be more afflicted by that this time around then anything.

As mentioned though, no one knows. The people who work on these things do it for their own reasons and they have no public schedules or timetables. No one owes them anything so they aren't beholden to the public and therefore aren't bound to any set date of delivery.

Usually the only notice you get is that they've released it. When that happens reddit.com/r/jailbreak will explode. That's when you will know that a legit jailbreak has been released.

It really sucks waiting for those stuck on stock, but unfortunately, the jailbreak devs agenda is not the same as ours.

Probably there wont be more jailbreaks. Go buy an android phone if you want root access. Android phones are the future for ex jailbreakers.

What do you base this on?

I'd prefer to suffer silently on stock over buying an Android device. So, I guess if you're right I won't be in on this future you mention.

The current US versions of the S7 and S7 Edge can not be rooted. This may the Androids future as well, as far as Samsung is concerned. Maybe other manufacturers too.

I am hanging onto my Note 5, Note 4 and Note Edge just for the ability to root.

More and more things seem to be pointing back to Windows Mobile from whence I came in September 2012.

Unfortunately Windows Mobile doesn't seem like it's going to be around should that happen. :(

Maybe someone will fill the vacuum.

Seriously, you cannot Jailbreak and iphone 6 on iOS 9.3.2.

I would never.
I'd rather be on stock iOS than on Rooted android.
And I been JB iphones since 2007 so your opinion/guess doesn't include me and yes there will be future iOS jailbreaks.
Thanks for overgeneralizing and predicting the future though:D

It is simple. Evaders despeared because of the chinese. The chinese are easily being bought out by Apple every time they find an exploit.

Those are usually the jailbreak teams that put out working JB's and Apple mentions their name when they release the next iOS version to patch to those exploit vulnerabilities.

See below: its always after the fact for them. They will either release it to the public or sell it to the highest bidder, everybody wants a piece of the security flaw nowadays.

I for one believe that when a jailbreak is found many of those developers that find them are now selling that knowledge to Apple. I love my iPad Pro and will continue to use it even without a jailbreak but I do believe jailbreaking is probably something of the past. It is even happening on the Android side as many have mentioned about Samsung. The good thing about Android is that there is several vendors many of whom will be more than willing to take that piece of the business that Samsung is leaving behind.

Apple is always the highest bidder when it comes to buying an exploit. That is how they make the iphone the most secure phone. Paying.

Confused by multiple posts on the forum. I have 6+ on iOS 8.3. Even though there are jailbreaks for 8.4 and 9.0 I can't upgrade to either of those because neither are being signed by Apple. I can only upgrade to the latest 9.3 for which there is no jailbreak. Am I correct?
