Hello there,

this is my first thread in MacRumours, but i've been following it for a couple months.
I've updated my Mac Mini to OS X Yosemite and Server.app to Server 4.1

Now, i needed to add a couple of users, only to file sharing, which i did, but those users also appear in the computer users, to login when the computer starts, but i don't want that to happen, because it's intended only for them to be able to share a common folder. Before the update all of the users that i had only appeared in Server.app. What did i do wrong?

Also when i was checking permissions, my available disk space went from ˜300gb available only to 30gb available, which can compromise the server's performance.

If someone could be of help, i would be very much thankful!
Best regards,
Alexandre

Even in previous server versions a user profile had to be created in order to assign file sharing permissions. My suggestion is make sure the profiles are created as network users and not local users. If you don't want the profiles to have account login privileges on the network, make sure you set them as "services only" accounts.

As for disk space...are you using software caching service? If so, reset the cache and reduce the usable disk space.

PS. I'm assuming you have opendirectory service active in order to create network accounts.
