Hi,

I have a time capsule (soon to get a Drobo) and store all my music on the time capsule. I set the location in iTunes on my Macbook Pro and everything is fine, but whenever I leave home iTunes automatically changes the location to the MBP harddrive so when I get home again I have to change it back.

Is there a way to fix this?

I do have Podcasts set to auto dl could that be why?

Thanks.

Chris

Yup. Unless you can always connect to your time capsule or a server with your music, iTunes is going to have to save some songs somewhere thus it changes the save location to your HD.

One solution is to carry an external bus-powered drive with your music, another solution is to set up a powermac server to give you access to your music.
