Server updating, closing services

I've encountered this issue twice now. OSX server will update, notifying me that the app was updated, and all services stop. It's not until I try connecting to the webserver or ftp that I realize it's down.

Anyone have a work around or fix for this?

Well, for one, turn off automatic updates.

Yep. Always turn off auto updates on Server.

Never know what it might change....or break.

I like to make a full bootable clone and/or service data backup, and test it, before applying a Server update....so I can roll back.
