Service Battery

My battery is now showing "service battery"

What will Apple do if I bring it in? Free or do I have to pay for a replacement?
 
How old is the computer, and do you have AppleCare? If the computer is less than a year old they should replace it for free. And if you have AppleCare they should replace it for free if your Mac is less than 3 years old.
