Service/Data Plan Question

I have had an iPhone since June. My phone broke, so I need to replace it with a new one. Can I use the iPhone service plan as a data plan for another phone- since I am still under contract for the iPhone? Or can I cancel my iPhone plan? Help please!

I would ask your carrier to be 100% positive, but the way I understand it is, the iphone plan is simply a fancy name for a voice plan, plus the additional data plan. So I would imagine you could use it for another phone, however you may have to talk to a rep at a store to get it all worked out, which I would have recommending doing asap, they are the ones who can change it, not me.🙂
