Set a password for file sharing

Hi all!

I've just finished setting up file sharing between my iMac and my PC. The PC has allowed me to set a password so every time someone from the network tries to access the shared files, it requires a password.

However, I was unable to do the same for the Mac. Is this feature not available at all or am I not looking in the right place? Btw, I am using Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8, if that matters!
