Hi all.
I switched to Macs about 3 years ago now (Tiger?). Still a bunch of simple things OSX doesn't appear to do that drive me nuts. One is that I still can't see how to create an event that has a different start and end time zone. I recently went on a trip to Europe and needed to do this a lot. I ended up buying BusyCal, which had no problem with this using the same calendar database. Therefore, it looks like it's just an issue with iCal/Calendar not letting me set it up.
BusyCal has a new update that's not cheap and they're now using the app store so they can't provide upgrade discounts 🙁
So, I'm trying OSX Calendar again but even in 10.8.2, it still can't do this. Is it just me? Is there some secret setting I'm missing? I have Time Zone support enabled.
Another thing it can't do - that BusyCal can - it select a bunch of events and edit them together. This is great for cleaning up lots of events that are in the wrong calendar.
Any ideas or suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
David
