    Hello,

Is there a way to set a password for mac mail to open it?

    Thanks a lot!

That doesn't give me the option to set a password to open mac mail...that just removes my account password to login....

...which is basically the same thing when it comes to email accounts.

If you want Mail to only be accessible with a password, use parental controls and a non-administrator account.
