Is there any way to make the dashboard act as a screensaver. So when I leave my computer idle for x amount of minutes and come back, the dashboard is automatically up?

There is a program that does almost exactly this. It came out shortly after Tiger did -- I think in that period when Tiger had no widget manager built into it. I'm trying to remember the name of the company...it was a strange name that started with an "S." If I can find a link, I will post it. :)

What this program did was trigger the DB to pop up after a certain timeout. So if you disable your screensaver, then DB would essentially become your screensaver.

EDIT: Here it is! :) Dasher by Splasm Software.
