Set the screen to dim faster?

When sending a text, after I send it the screen takes a long time to go black. This is probably killing battery life, and I cant find a setting to make it dim quickly. If I press the top right button, it makes it go black, but then I will have to slide to unlock every time I want to turn the screen on again. Any way to make the screen dim faster?

You can go to Settings-General-Auto Lock and change it to one minute, that's the lowest option though.
