Sorry to start another thread here (mods please move if this is in the wrong place), but I've been having this issue where I can't get any work for SETI@home.
When I try to get work by pressing the "update" button in the BOINC Manager, I get a message that says "Scheduler request pending, Requested by user, Scheduler request in progress", after that message displays for a few seconds, I get this message, "Communication deferred 00:00:11" and it counts down to zero.
I have been getting these messages for a few weeks, and I don't know what to do. I want to participate with SETI@home, but this is getting really annoying. I can use SETI@home just fine under boot camp, and on my VAIO, but for some reason it won't work on my iMac. Also iStat Pro reports that my CPU is 100% used , so BOINC must be doing something.
