Just wondering, how many people are doing the SETI@Home project instead of Folding@home? Maybe it's just me, but my PC blazes through SETI work whereas it took it a solid month to get through my first (and only) bit of Folding work.

Anyway, I just broke into the first page of the MacRumors team with the average daily credit, I'm quite proud 😀 Just wondering if there's still people keeping up with that project in here

I run hte BOINC manager on my pismo pretty much all the time. It's slow, but that doesnt bother me

You may have received a large WU. They are different sizes in folding. However, there points are relative to the size of the WU.

Same here. I use BOINC Menubar, which divides CPU time between whichever ones you use. I run SETI@home, Predictor@home, and Einstein@home. That's in addition to using the Electric Sheep screensaver.
So don't limit yourself to just one distributed computing project, use BOINC!

I have had my office PC on SETI since 1999. Transfered all my units to MR 2004. My, now ageing is still working 24/7 on SETI (Boink) 🙂
Damn I deserve a medal for that. 😀

I also have my MDD and iBook folding at home.

I just joined MacRumor's seti@home team.
I had communication problems when I tried to connect to folding@home,
but when I have a few minutes, I'll give it another try.

When it works, the Verizon NationalAccess cardbus card is great!

Original core duo mac mini, powerbook g4 (1.67Ghz). Someday I'll load the boinc client on my dual core G5, emac G4, and G4 mini. But not today.
