Hey everyone,

I would like to set my MacBook up to where any time it is awaken from sleep, turned on, etc, it asks me for my password for my account (which is the admin). I hope this makes sense... kind of like having different users on Windows and such. I know it can be done, but I'm new to Macs and I'm not sure how to do it. Thanks for the help!

System Preferences > Security > Require password to wake this computer from sleep

System Preferences -> Security -> Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver, and also disable automatic login.

thanks for the quick reply! when I go to Security, it asks me to set a master password and so forth before I can choose anything. it doesn't automatically take my account password? and then, I have to turn FileVault on?
