Having some vision problems and need to set the MacBook up so most websites will automatically be double in size withiout having to do it by keyboard each time. I think there is a qu ick and dirty way but not reading well enough to be sure. Thanks.

In most browsers, you can go into preferences (apple-,) and set a default font size and a minimum font size. I'd try that.

In Safari you can go to preferences>appearance. If you want to do it system wide, try the Universal Access settings in System Preferences.

Text enlarging solved

I kept fishing around in the Help files till I found the way to add a command to Speech Recognition and by golly, it works!! It i sn't automatic but I have to speak only one word and hold down one key which is a lot better than before. Thanks for giving me the incentive to keep trying.
