Setting up a repeater on my MBP

My wireless router is connected to a PC across the house and my wireless connection is spotty most of the time... I was thinking of setting up a repeater... Can i use an Airport Express??? I have a Netgear router??? How would i set this up??? Thanks:apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:
 
why not just get an AEBS, that way you get 300mbit/s double range N wifi and place it in the middle of your house?
