Dear Community,

From over the seas I need some help. I would like to stream my music, photo's and movies from my iDevices and Apple Laptop to my Tv set. I now have the latest Sony Homecinema set (BDV-N8100W) and a Sony Bravia. Unfortunately I also play the PS3.. sometimes..

Now, whats the best solution?

1) a Server? or app.. or..?
2) conecting a ATV, but how? I mean, I want all my sound over the set off course AND my PS3 sound over the Optical cable..

Are you the genius who can help me?

Thanx for your time!

Plug your PS3 and ATV into the receiver with HDMI cables. Done.

Your receiver will connect to the TV via HDMI. There's really no need for an optical cable in this case.

That's it. Use Airplay to get the content to from the iDevice to the TV via the Apple TV.

I thought you had to connect the ATV directly to your TV.. Why I don't know.

Anyways, I still can connect the PS3 by optical cable to my receiver and the ATV by HDMi.

Thank you very much!

Cheers,

K-Jens
