setting up iphone on new computer

i should be getting my iphone tomorrow. i am going to sync it in my itunes so i can get all my outlook contacts on there. i also plan to buy some apps through the itunes store and sync those with the iphone as well.

i am going to be getting a new computer next month. so when i plug my iphone into the new computer will all my apps, contacts, etc. be deleted?

iTunes will tell you that your iPhone has been synced with another computer and will have to be erased to be able to sync with your new one.

No, you would have to manually transfer the apps and other media to the new computer, erase the iPhone and re-sync it.
