i had my macbook for nearly 2 months, ive repaired permissions twice.

i Heard OSX does it maintenance during the night (late in to the night)

it deletes Chronic/Defrag/Indexs etc? how can i set to i a time i choose?

also ive heard few people, say sudo does this is this correct, if so what is the command in terminal?

The terminal command is:

sudo periodic daily weekly monthly

Alternatively, there are a few apps you can use instead. There's a free widget called Maintidget, and a utility called Macaroni which can change the schedule to suit you.

Other utilities like Onyx and Cocktail can also perform the scripts at a click of a button. :)
