Setting up MP quad 3.0 for FCP

so my MP will be here in the morning and I need to set it up for the best performance for FCP! I will have 2 23in acd's and 8 gigs of ram. my ati x1900 won't be in until wed. Any suggestions to push the performance to the max???😀

You will need a second drive for your media. Could be internal or a FW.

I have bay one and bay two = 750gigs right now. I will at the end of oct get another tb utilizing the other hd's. will what I have now be ok?
