I am unable to setup static connection since upgrading to IOS 6.

The problem, if i enter in the relevant details ( ip, subnet mask, & router ip) but how to do you save it?

If i switch tabs, than go back, the connection defaults back to using DHCP, and all, settings under 'Static' are blank.

How do you save static settings in IOS 6?

Solved..

Wired way to keep iPad in DHCP, and you can modify the settings though.

I found that it would default to dhcp if ALL the required fields are not correctly filled in. So if you don't put the router ip in (for example), and press back; it's obviously incomplete, and reverts to attempting a dhcp.

Dunno how you're modifying the settings under the dhcp tab tho. Mine is rather predictable in that the ip, mask and router can't be changed there.

I'm having the same exact problem. Except I have no idea what you mean when you say "Wired way to keep iPad in DHCP"

Please help :(
