I just got my new macbook last night and am now trying to set up a wireless network, the pc in the house has windows xp and does not have a wireless card, my mac has airport. I am using a linksys router. My question is can I use this router to run internet on my Mac? I have tried setting it up and it has not been working. Is there a router you would recomend? If I didn't want a wireless network could I buy another DSL modem and put it somewhere else in the house, so we have two DSL modems running at the same time?

Yeah some routers are incompatible with the mac it seems or you have to find a way around them. I know at the moment I can't get my Dlink working.
