Hey all! I am new to the whole iPod craze and have had a Creative Zen up until now. With that, I could easily set wallpaper on my player, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to set wallpaper on the iPod. I hope it's even possible. Thanks for the help!!

I don't have a current generation iPod, but unless Apple added it to the 5G ones it's not possible unless you resort to iPod Linux or similar.

I think a wallpaper would detract from the simple interface on the iPod. It remains to be seen whether Apple would incorporate the use of wallpapers in the next iteration of iPods.

So basically what everyone is trying to tell you, is that you can't set wallpapers on the iPod.

You're stuck with the plain white background I'm afraid.

This is one feature that ive always wanted in the ipod but so far its never came. Hopefully in the next revision.

Indeed there is

There is a hack, although it isn't easy.

Dig through the forums, the hack has been out a while for the 5g, and was just finished for the nano.

(I'm really surprised macrumors' posters don't know about this site)
