Settings/control panel disappeared from my dock. Help!

    I have no idea how this came to be, but my dock no longer has the system settings / control panel icon, and I have no way to access any of my system settings now. Using Snow Leopard. Has anyne seen this happen before and does anyone know how I can undo this?

    Just go into your Applications folder and drag it to the Dock.

    Or just go to the :apple: menu and then select System Preferences, the 4th item in the list. Once its been added to your Dock as a temp item, click on the icon and hold, then choose Options->Keep in Dock.

    ]Just go into your Applications folder and drag it to the left side of the Dock.
