Hi,

I am currently on jailbroken 8.4 on my iPad Air 2, however, when iOS 9 comes out, I will most likely upgrade, even without a jailbreak being available.

When it comes out am I able to:

1. Backup my Apps on 8.4
2. Do a full wipe and install of 9.0
3. Set the iPad up as new (setting up iCloud etc)
4. Still install the Apps from my 8.4 backup, or can I only do this if I restore my full backup?

Cheers
Stewart

No, you would have to manually install your apps after you setup as new. You can take screen shots to make sure you end up with the same configuration of apps after your setup up as new.

Why would you have to set up as new?can you just back it up, update your iOS getting rid of the jb and restore your settings...So you can have all your stuff plus ios9?
