Does anyone know how to set up mail for the first time like what is the proper POP3 and all that.

You will need to get the server details and account information from your email provider. There is no global "correct" server.

Yahoo it is

The email server is yahoo POP3 smtp and all that crap is what I need to find out where can someone find that info on a mac using Yahoo as the mail server

If you have a "normal" Yahoo Mail account (i.e. webmail) then you do not have POP3 access. You either need the httpmail plugin or pay Yahoo for POP access.

Maybe looking at Yahoo would be a good start?? 🙄 They must have some documentation on their site telling you what servers you need to use. If you get these then someone can help you getting it setup, though to be honest it is pretty straight forward.
