Holy s**t what a great show! I started the first episode on monday and finished the last on wednesday. I was hooked right from the start. The camera, the artstyle, the tension, the mysteries, just everything about this show is awesome! There was not one second where I was bored.
Also reading the comments from those who watched it "live" (as in watching each episode as soon as they were released) was very interesting.
I wonder how they will continue with the story. I guess season 2 will be a very different show, as the innies have quite some outie knowledge. And some outies heard about innie stuff. Especially what Helly R. said. Even though it wasn't much, it was quite enough.

Does anyone know in what year this show takes place? The innie world seems pretty 80s. Also the cars in the outies world. But there are mobiles so it's more 90s to 2000s. And then there is Milchick with a device that looks like a mix of a modern smartphone and a Newton?

Pretty sad that Severance wasn't mentioned in the What's New In 2024 on AppleTV+ trailer. Could still come later in 2024 as that trailer only mentioned the first half of 2024.

It’s a fantastic show indeed, very original and well made. One of my favorites. The fact that you slowly start discovering that peculiar world is one of its charms. I will re-Watch season one whenever the second is released.

I guess we should have second season by now, but I’ve heard that there’s a strike among the actors or something like that, and maybe that has affected the production.

Terrible season IMO.

season 1 was brilliant and interesting.
season 2 was filled with randomness, pretentiousness, and no consistency of the characters... and purposefully adding more mysteries just for the sake of it.

I will probably watch some of season 3 out of morbid curiosity but super disappointing and no longer excited about the show.

Deservingly so!!!!!!
Pootie Tang lol funny movie.

I got into watching season one because I heard this award-winning show has been edited on Mac. I remember seeing a cameo advertisement of one of the Lumon computers from this show on the Mac webpage of the Apple website back in March. Even though I was intrigued by the interesting work being done there, I wondered what the show was about.

It is like the office but in a different light.

I’m so excited to start watching season two. Season one was a lot of fun, but it also had some chilling moments. Helly/Helena’s runaway behavior and her attempt to resign from Lumon were quite outrageous to watch. Even though the outie realms of these severed people did different things outside of the office, they all ended up with different consequences. Spoiler alert! 😂

Wow, that was a quick watch! I just wrapped up the final episode of Severance Season 2. It was definitely more intense than Season 1.

Mark’s rescue of Gemma, the shift in the Macrodata refinement department, and the leadership change really pushed the storyline to its limits. The ending was quite dramatic, almost like the company was under attack. And being infiltrated by the outies.

For those of you who’ve seen all the episodes, I was wondering: is the red alarm 🚨 that Mark used to get Gemma out of the testing center the same one that goes off on the elevator/emergency stairs when the innies activate code detections if they’ve brought any unauthorised items from the severed floor? The alarm sounded quite different from the code detector one you saw in Season 1 when Helly wasn’t used to the severed floor environment in the beginning of the show. And also that alarm in the finale of season two turned off the lights and had a higher pitched sound.
