Severance is spectacular. Terrific first season, and I hope to goodness that the second season (when it arrives next year) stands up to the first!

My ATV+ free trial was ran out, so I didn't have time to squeeze this in. Am glad I suggested this to family when they got their ATV+ free trial started. They really did enjoy it and got hooked!

Did see Ted Lasso. "It's a show with heart", one that I enjoyed. That said, I'm wondering about the next season, if Nate...
Did he intentionally act like that to defect to a rival football team as a mole?

The show I enjoyed most on ATV+ was Foundation. Getting the next season of that will definitely get me back to sub ATV+ for a month or 3.

I do hope the finale is good, I'm on my last 2 episodes and it took a really long time to get there. Great filming and acting but too much of the same building.
Was the same for me, but in the end, I regret that I did not paid more attention. :) enjoy!

Severance is probably the best show in TV history. That finale!! 🤯

I pretty much immediately binge-watched the entire season a second time to uncover all the hidden details and easter eggs that I missed the first time. The show gets better with every watch.

Btw, if you still haven't yet, go read the leaked letter from one of the employees of Lumen Industries. Read it carefully from beginning to end (do not skip to the end). You will be mind-blown all over again. You can find the letter in Apple Books.

Yep! Seriously, if Severance doesn't win an award here? I'll lose ALL respect for the ceremonies.
There's SO much about it that was top-notch, including all the little details of the videography and the symbolic choices of colors used throughout.

It’s a very weird paradigm compared to a few years ago, when popular consensus was that TV+ stood no chance against giants like Netflix and Disney+.

Today, I am growing increasingly disillusioned with Netflix and Disney+ content, while Apple’s long term focus on quality over quantity looks like it’s beginning to pay off.

The likelihood of me dropping Netflix and Disney+ in the future looks increasingly likely.

Severance was great, I am so sick of Ted Lasso and that stupid picture Apple uses all the time. Tried watch several episodes, but never liked it.
First season Ted Lasso was epic. Second season a let down. I almost dread how bad the 3rd could be.

The nice thing about Lasso is it attracts a wide variety of viewers without the tacit and direct political angling of the writer/producer/director. It’s become almost impossible to watch anything without the political nonsense. Never understood how the political activism was deemed essential when it risks losing half its potential market. People are not that stupid to see the embedded political messages. Without, it allows the viewer to immerse himself or herself into the story, characters, and humour that I believe is more important.
Being polarising isn't a bad thing if you're not trying to be a goody goody appeasing everyone, but rather, just being your real self.

I loved the vibe of the 1st season of Ted Lasso, but found the 2nd season lame, partly for the changing vibe, but mostly for the complete lack of, or taming of, the antagonistic characters.

Garden variety contrarian thinks that anyone who actually gets along is faking it. Yawn.

Severance is excellent. I have not seen a drama this good in ages. The art direction, cinematography, score, and acting is impeccable. The mystery is deep and growing deeper, it's very relatable for those who have spent any amount of time in a soulless office and injects just a bit of somewhat dark humor, it takes you out of your comfort zone but in a way that is thrilling and the sympathy that you feel for all involved is visceral. It's like nothing else I have watched. It stands alone. I really hope it wins because it deserves it. Better Call Saul is great but it has been done before. This is very fresh.

Severance is a kind of show that the more you pay attention the better it is. Such a rare gem. The good news is it leaves LOTS of hints for season 2 (& possibly beyond) so I don’t think it will run out of gas in S2 like many fears.
Like Ben Stiller tweeted, his cinematographer should definitely win it (along with all design departments) at least.

How is the show for product placement?
