Severe audio lag from handbrake movies

When I play back a movie that I have put on my computer there is video delay, the audio is a few tenths of a second ahead of the picture. How do I calibrate this? Everything else though is perfectly in sync though (youtube videos etc)
 
Have you tired different video player VLC for example?

Also do you have the handbrake source file to see if there is lag?
