Hey everyone,

Noticed something today and wanted thoughts on if it was a possible screen issue or a software thing.

Only noticeable either in a dark environment or of the screen brightness is low.

A Face ID scan failed and brought up the passcode overlay screen. On this screen, in the top left, I noticed a shadow. A bit like a watermark and...in the faint shape of a face in profile (I know, sounds made up or intentional!).

I can replicate consistently. Only notice on the overlay screen though.

Will upload pic when on stable connection

Anyone see it?

Mike

YES! Just saw that and was about to post something about it. It even shows up on screenshots viewed on my phone. Maybe has something to do with the color and the OLED panel? Also, seems to only be for the red/blue wallpaper used during they keynote.

You’re right. At least on my phone it is only with that wallpaper too.

That makes me less worried it’s a physical screen issue.

Thanks for posting!

Yup. Doesn’t show in screenshots. And it’s not live wallpaper

If it shows on screenshots it can’t be a physical screen issue.
