Probably the fact that China was in the first wave made Apple be more careful about new dates for second wave countries. But no one knows.

Not directly related, but Apple Watch is updated with release date in Norway today. October 9th.
This is updated on the official site, so I guess we might see the release of the phone on the same date. Makes sense in my head at least.

Last year the release date for second wave was announced earlier. It didn't take them this long to announce.
