share a calendar between different iphone users?

how do you setup say a work calendar that 3 other iphone users can subscribe to - effectively sharing it?

In iCal set up said calendar and right click on it and click publish, it will then give you a URL that they can subscribe to.

How do the people i want to share the calendar subscribe to the one i publish on their iphones?

is there a way they can edit that calendar?

They will only be able to read the calendar...

i don't have mobile me...thus the publish option doesn't work...is there other ways to share your calendar with other iphones?
