Share iTunes library over network?

Hi,

Is it possible to share my iTunes library over my network? My main library is located on my macbook, and I want to be able to access it on my desktop PC. However, I want to be able to do more than just listen to songs on my PC; I want to be able to edit/manage playlists, edit my library, add songs, etc.

Is there any 3rd party software out there than enables itunes library sharing over mac/pc network?

good question i would actually like to do the same as i now have a mac mini and an MBP but i dont want different playcounts and 2 versions some songs etc

You mean instead of 'look for shared libraries' option in iTunes?

i think this might help, it is a software called mojo. you can share you itunes over the internet and your local network.
