I'm just got my first Mac ever, an iMac running Lion. I'm now in the process of moving over media files from my old Windows machine and needing some assistance.
I want to share my MP3 collection and family photos with my Apple TV (2) and my wife'ss account on this same computer. I moved all the photos to the 'Pictures' folder, movies to 'Movies', etc on my account. I successfully setup the sharing with my iTunes so my Apple TV now see's the Movies and Music, but not the photos.
On my wife's account, mainly I just want her to have access to the photos through iPhoto. If she can see the MP3's in iTunes it would be nice but not as important as the photos. I was able to set some sharing permissions on my account and gave her user read permissions but when she log's in she only see's her own empty Movies/Music/Pictures folder.
Any suggestions on how best to set this up is appreciated.
