That is what I am saying about my ipod, there is something seriously wrong with it. It actually gets up to -3-4 hours but it can run for over an hour while in the red which isn't normal. As for the usage pattern I bought this thing to use so yeah, if I need to do something on it it am going to do it, holding back just makes it a $250 paperweight for me.

Hmm. Of late my iPod Touch 5 battery life stinks. I charged it last night using a wall charger. Have not used it at all since then but when I checked it a few minutes ago, it shows the battery is half depleted. Doing what?

Used to get a couple of days use from one charge. That's sure no longer the case.

Update edit: an overnight charged followed by the cure-all hard reset worked. Battery life is back to normal now, thank goodness.

Cant do a screenshot of the usage on ios 3.1.3 but im surprised with my 1st gen ipod touchs battery, after watching videos and some light gaming for almost 3 hours it still was near 50%. A device that is used everyday. Not bad for a 7 year old touch.
