iPhone 13 Pro Share Your Best Macro Photography Shots

My cats paw. Doesn’t instantly look the most impressive, but what blows me away is that this was taken in a pretty dark room on only a few seconds of night mode.

These new cameras are no joke

Assuming this is a serious question and you’re not trolling, all macro photography has very shallow depth of field.

You’re normally talking about 3mm or 4mm actually being in focus.

If you look at that bug shot, the head is sharp but the antennae go out of focus.

Trick is to try and get the bugs eyes sharp, rather than the body.

Google insect macro shots to see what I mean.
No, I'm absolutely serious. I don't like any pictures here because how blurry they are and their lack of detail.

Kool Cigarette Butt… enough to make you quit?

Love this new camera but “Styles” is similar to what Nikon offered us in their pro lineup for years.

One of our cats, Myla.

As someone who literally just points and shoots, I'm grateful that I have a phone which allows me to capture photos like this. I know one day they won't be with us (hopefully that day is a long way off!) so having shots like this to look back on will put a smile on my face.

Question for all you 13 owners:

I know Apple said that the 13 can do Macro video, as well. Can it also do slo-mo or time lapse?
