    Hey guys!
I've been searching around for nice apps and games for quite some time here
But there are tones of apps out there where for a new mac user like me doesn't know the functions of the apps at all :worship:

So hereby I seek for help from all of you at the same time to get more comments about certain apps you are using :p

Let's make it as TOP 5 list  (can be less or more too)

It will be great if you can add on some summary for the Apps & Games :)

    Thanks :D

    Apps:
    1. iUnarchive (allows you to see inside archives before extracting them) [paid]
    2. AppCleaner (uninstalls applications completely)
    3. ClipGrab (allows you to download online video from variety of sites)
    4. GrandPerspective (gives you a graphical representation of what's taking up space on your hard drive)
    5. Virtual DJ Home (great and fun DJ app with turntables and powerful engine; free too)
    6. MusicBrainz Picard (scans any music track and finds its info, song name/artist/album/etc...)
    7. iPhone Explorer (you never know when iTunes will decide to ****** up everything on your iDevice, but this app allows you to get to just about every file that's on your iDevice)
    8. Growl (great notification system used by many software)
    9. Perian (a codec pack for Mac)
    10. VLC (best media player of them all)
    Other notables:
Parallels (can't get away from Windows if you wanted to? there's an app for that)
MS Office for Mac 2011 (better than iWork IMO, more familiar and [chance is] more compatible with your docs at work)
Any Video Conveter for Mac (best video/audio converter IMO, allows you to download internet video too)
Pixelmator (image editing and manipulation software - it's Photoshop done right)
    Chrome
    iStatPro widget
    GarageBand

    Games:
    1. GTA San Andreas (ftw)
    2. Age Of Empires III (great strategy game of a classic franchise)
    3. The Sims 3 (that's right)
    4. Asphalt 6: Adrenaline (great racing game) [$6.99 Mac App Store]
    5. Machinarium (amazing art puzzle game) [$9.99 Mac App Store]
    Also:
Pinball HD (amazing graphics + lots of fun)
iNe Sweeper (minesweeper ring a bell? ;)
    StuntMANIA
    Sudoku Uno

    I can't live without
    1. Twitter for Mac
    2. MS Office
    3. Dropbox / Mediafire
    4. My external harddrive(s) (that I use for backup)
    5. My 6500 track music library
And all the tech sites and podcasts that I follow "religiously" ;)
