Was interested in seeing what some people's handwriting is with the Apple Pencil.
Also, what are your thoughts on using the Apple Pencil for writing?

Fantastic. As natural as anything. Just means getting used to writing on glass not paper. Other than that no change 🙂

One of my to-do lists from notability......

I use a to do list template that I have created in MS Word. I'd like to write notes on it and use a fresh copy every week. What's the easiest way/app for me to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Love it for math. Here are some notes I wrote down for some code I was writing for a homework assignment...

(Edit: forgot to mention... these are done in Notability)

I'd post a sample of mine, but nobody wants to see a grown man that writes like a 4 year old

dont be bashful, a few of us 4 year olds have already posted 🙂

you're right though - writing on glass all of a sudden makes your handwriting crap 😛

This looks great for casual note taking. However, I was wondering if any of you know of an application that can convert handwriting (or block letter writing as I do) into typewritten text as I'm writing--or perhaps in one action after?

It would be a huge time saver for me if I could take notes in meetings on an iPad with such an application and then simply edit the text later in Word rather than re-type my notes entirely. I figured with the introduction of the iPad Pro and Apple pencil that such a thing would be forthcoming. I've got a clunky iPad 3 which definitely would not work well in this regard but I may upgrade soon.

Despite the best efforts of Sister Severity of the Five Wounds, I never mastered the Palmer method. Nowadays, I can only write in block caps, and even that's pretty crude. So forgive me if I don't share my secret shame.

My handwriting is sloppy. I prefer writing over typing on the macbook because the macbook feels like a shield that doesnt really immerses me into the learning experience. I type my notes into a neat outline when I get home. As long as you can read your sloppy handwriting, I think that's all that matters 🙂
