I received my Apple smart keyboard today. I purchased it from Best Buy, and although it was listed as in stock, the status later changed to backordered shortly after placing the order. It was supposed to arrive no later than December 22nd.

I love the keyboard!

walked into best buy looking for a TV stand and thought I'd take a shot the apple rep said let me know when you find one! lol

Still haven't found one of these (though I got lucky with a Pencil a week ago). How are people (particularly faster typists) liking this keyboard? I type at 140~160 wpm and am assuming it'll be able to keep up.

It takes a little getting used to. However, I can type full speed (120 wpm) on it and was able to do so with little effort. The typing surface is VERY comfortable. While the key travel is the hardest thing to get used to, I find you get a good solid press and return when done right. I actually prefer typing on the Smart Keyboard to my stock Dell keyboard at work and like it just as much as my rMBP.

Thanks. Found one today and picked it up. The key travel indeed does take some getting used to, but I've sort of started trusting it without the usual tactile response.
