So I created a shared password group with my wife and daughter. We all contributed 5-10 passwords each, in that group. Today, I see the group is empty. All passwords gone from all of our devices. The passwords cannot be found in the “deleted passwords” section on any of our devices.

I created another shared password group for my parents and moved around 10 passwords into it but didn’t end up adding my parents to that group. That group survived and all the passwords are still there.

Make of that what you will, looks like the feature is still buggy.

I have unfortunately just encountered this as well. Same scenario: I created three shared groups, and added members to each. I moved several passwords from "My Passwords" into each group. And today, all three groups have zero passwords in them, and all three groups have no "Recently Deleted" folder at all. The passwords are not back in "My Passwords", nor are they in the "Recently Deleted" folder there either.

Troubling.

Unfortunately, I saw this again with my second group. It had 10 passwords in it, but when I added more members to it, after some time, it went empty.

I tested out adding 5 duplicate passwords to my shared password groups, to see if the problem would recur. One of the five is now already, again, gone.

OP, are you running any devices on the iOS 17.1 beta? I do have one device running the beta that is signed into my iCloud account, so wondering if that’s perhaps a factor.

I'm struggling with the same problem.. Both with my wife we had previously iOS 17.0.3 and now 17.1. After any of us add several password to shared group, after several days there are gone forever. I have iPhone 15 Pro Max and my wife has iPhone 15 Pro.

More strange stuff. A few days ago, many passwords which I had deliberately deleted came back.
