I have a shared printer on my home WiFi network, and once in awhile it disappears from the shared section of finder. I check the printer and it is in fact still connected to the network, it just can't be seen by my mac. A reboot fixes this, but is there a way to reset the shared section of finder so that it refreshes, in other words goes out to find whats on the network? Maybe via command line? Rebooting is annoying.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried quitting just the Finder and restarting? Or does the printer drop off the network? Can you just go into the Print Pref Pane and try to re-add it?

Also, there may be some bonjour utilities out there that could help if the issue is just that bonjour is losing it.
